Thinking and working differently to create strategic momentum – how L&D becomes a strategic partner.
The theme of L&D having strategic influence in the business and earning ‘a seat at the top table’ feels timeless, yet little seems to have changed over the years. However, there are important signals the environment is changing - and that it needs to change. More serious questions are being asked about investment in learning and the value it can create. To demonstrate that value, learning must show it can contribute to the solution of meaningful and valuable problems far beyond the design of great training experiences. So, how do we reinvent ourselves as strategic partners to the business?
In this webinar we will discuss:
- What does the landscape for learning as strategic influencer look like now: levels of maturity, barriers, blockers and progress
- The necessary conditions for learning teams and services to have strategic influence
- Partnering relationships as a crucial foundation
- Exploring the Sponge 3Es methodology, its rationale and benefits
- Describing how the approach has worked in customer contexts
- Where next for the industry – L&D as strategic service to the business and service providers as strategic partners to L&D
